Research Description

The neural stem cells were investigated to explore the way in which the stem cells differentiate into the mature cells, and analyse how the differentiation of the cells was affected by some external facts in the microenvironment.

The neural stem cells were taken from the neural tube of the fatus of 13 says of mice, and cultured to stablize the growth of the cells.

The stablized cells were cultivated in various microenvironment man-made by adding different biological factors, or some special drugs, even by increasing or decreasing the amount of oxygen in the culture medium.

The efficiency on the differentiation of the stem cells will be measured and compared among different conditions to make sure the exact effect of a specific factor.
