Research Description
My research investigate the molecular mechanisms by which the siRNA cukaryotic expression vectors targeting to EGF receptor and IGF-1 receptor.
The original focus of the lab was the regulation of explored a method of neonatal rat myocardial cells in culture and for therapeutics of cardiac failure, upon completion of master in Department of Anatomy Wuhan University School of Medicine in 1999. We have also begun to take part in research in basic cancer. This led to the development of powerful the design, construction and identification of siRNA cukaryotic expression vectors targeting to EGF receptor and IGF-1 receptor, the effects of dual silencing of EGF receptor and IGF-1 receptor on cell cycle and apoptosis of CNE2 cells, effects of dual silencing of EGF and IGF-1receptor on growth of human nasopharyngeal carcinoma xenograft in nude mice.
