On Sep 12th, welcome to School of Basic Medical Sciences, master’ graduate students and doctoral students in 2016, Hong Yan said. As Deputy Secretary of our college, firstly she introduced students to the basic situation of our college, including organization structuring, basic medical subject status, research teams, etc. Hopefully she focused on relevant documents in education management for graduate students in order to understand more fully and emphasis on them as the guide of learning, scientific research and life. As new postgraduates in 2016, she demanded the students should quickly adjust to the new role and set up an initiative to meet new requirements on our moral, professional, physical and psychological quality in new life. Finally she put forward some requirements to the new students: to have great beliefs and goals, improve our quality of scientific research and experimental skills, cultivate our rigorous study life style, pay attention to integrity and academic moral, and maintain a healthy body and mind.
Next, Zhou Lanfang, vice director of office of scientific research and graduate students, answered new postgraduate students how to select courses in the new semester. Qiu Chao, the counselor of postgraduates, told about the schedule of the new term and stressed water and electricity safety in laboratories and bedrooms. Then she explained in detail about assessment of the academic scholarship.
“Self-improvement, Perseverance, Truth-seeking & Innovation”, the motto of Wuhan University will be our oath of the postgraduate students in 2016. “Health related, Life entrusted”, the vows of medicine will be our lifelong pursuit. Talents are the key element to build the Double Top, so we are the fresh force to develop our college. Our dreams have set sail, struggle with sweat. One new beginning, come on together.
