Research Description

Dendritic cells are recognized as the most powerful antigen presenting cell. With the ability to induce, sustain and regulate immune responses, specialized to capture, process and present antigen. In recent years, numerous studies indicated that DC play an important role in the tumor-specific immunity. It has been demonstrated that DC are closely related to clinical stage, invasion, metastasis and prognosis of cancer. It conferred us a potential target used to improve treatment, effectiveness of tumors and prognosis. I am interesting in the relationship between DC and tumorigenesis, particularly DC apoptosis and tumorigenesis.
